Associate Director - NOC Enterprise Service Provisioning & Network Operation Management Experience: 15+ Years Customer Facing: Global Client/Customers Ability to manage a large international Service Assurance and Delivery team. Good knowledge of a range of leading OEM products across technologies. Should have a solid understanding of ITIL incident and problem management framework. Deputy General Manager Skillset: 10-12 years of international experience in service delivery, leading NOC verticals, and acting as a SPOC for all operational and tactical issues. Manage onshore and offshore operations in an integrated way to deliver a seamless customer experience. Ownership of SLA/KPIs and provide direction to enhance performance. Represent NOC in cross-functional meetings and performance improvement plans. Understanding of ITIL problem management framework involving RCA of failed KPI’s and SLA. Managing escalations within the team and communications to stakeholders, support, and coordinate 2nd level escalation. Should have managed a span of 80+ team members. Develop individual functional KPIs that are aligned with overall current and future SOC SLAs. Ensure all functional requirements under NOC delivery are aligned to customer overall business and operational expectations. Key Responsibilities: Available for rotational shift (24x7) change request implementation. Ensure ~100% resource availability through continuous recruitment and training. Act as a single point of contact for all service-related issues and drive internal functions/leadership to resolve those concerns. Must have knowledge in VLAN encapsulation and switching protocols. Proven experience in Telecommunications, Voice/Data design to achieve optimized network. Ability to analyze proposed engineering solutions and to verify their compliance with internal and relevant industry standards. Experience in Routing and Switching with firm hold on protocols and technologies such as MPLS, L2/L2 VPN, BGP, OSPF, Static Routing, IPV4/IPv6, Throughput Testing, etc. Ability to understand and plan design work for Data/Voice and Core network. Hands-on experience with Data/Voice Network & telecommunications equipment. Ability to audit the services in NMS and in database and plan for migrations. Required Skills: Ability to efficiently communicate and perform in a “virtual” team spread over several locations. Ability to build rapport with people at various levels in the organization for requirements gathering. Good command over communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent people management skills. Mandatory Knowledge and Experience: Experience in leading and managing teams seamlessly, team player and motivator. Experience in Enterprise NOC and Service delivery. Good knowledge of a range of leading OEM products across technologies. Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications/Computer Engineering or similar. Experience of working in a multi-stakeholder, large corporate environment. Certifications: PMP, Agile, ITIL Desired Skills: Experience in Juniper routers, Cisco ASR routers, Nokia Routers, and SDH equipment. Knowledge on DWDM and OTN systems.
