We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate Director of Sales – Asia Market to join our team at Australia’s largest premium hotel. This role will be based in either Sydney or Melbourne. About the Role: As our Associate Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities, primarily within the Asia market. This individual will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence in the Asia-Pacific region. Main Responsibilities: Develop and execute a tailored sales strategy to increase market share and revenue across the diverse and dynamic Asia market, with a specific focus on high-growth regions (e.g., India, Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan etc.). Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional clients, distributors, and partners in Asia using a variety of communication channels. Manage strong relationships with senior decision-makers from key leisure, PCO's, corporate accounts and travel agents, showing a strong understanding of the Asia market. As well as internal stakeholders, and other market and industry sources. Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of acquisition activities and re-evaluate programs on an ongoing basis to exceed the objectives outlined in the Annual Business Plan. Assist in the preparation of reports for the Sales department. Observe and implement market trends and related information. Create and implement a dedicated Sales strategy to optimise event space utilisation and drive revenue growth. Assist with the leadership and coaching of the Sales team. Travel as required.
