ABOUT US PACCAR is a global market leader specialising in the design, manufacture and distribution of premium heavy commercial vehicles; Kenworth and DAF, related parts, leasing and financial services via an extensive dealer network throughout Australia. THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a proactive and organised Associate Engineer to join us at Bayswater. You will be engaging in the design, development, and sustainment of Electrical Systems for Kenworth and DAF truck applications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design and release electrical components for current and future truck programs Ensure all designs meet customer requirements, as well as relevant ADRs, regulatory requirements, and OH&S requirements Monitor and complete sustainment activities aligned to meet truck build schedules Maintain long-lasting relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders Provide technical advice to Kenworth departments and suppliers/vendors Review sources of potential new products, design enhancements, new materials, and new manufacturing methods Other problem resolution activities as required ABOUT YOU A hands-on Engineer with design experience Experience in the Automotive Industry or aligned industries Experience in developing Automotive Harnesses using Capital or Saber would be highly regarded Project management experience preferred Degree qualified as an Electrical Engineer or aligned discipline Strong stakeholder management skills Proactive problem-solver Willingness to learn WHY US?
