We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a Lawyer/Associate to join the Property team of a leading Australian law firm in Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of property-related transactions, including the drafting and negotiation of contracts, leases, licences, and development agreements. You will also be involved in providing expert advice to both private and public sector clients, assisting with land development and commercial property matters. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the review, drafting, and negotiation of property-related agreements, including contracts, leases, licences, and development agreements. Advise clients on a broad range of commercial property transactions, including advising landowners on development matters. Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality legal advice to public and private sector clients across various industries. Provide clear and commercially focused legal solutions in a fast-paced environment. The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for an experienced lawyer with: 2-4+ years of experience in commercial property or real estate law within a private practice setting. Strong academic background and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to draft and review property-related agreements such as contracts of sale, leases, and development agreements. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines effectively. A collaborative and energetic approach to their work.
