About the opportunity Southern Cross University’s Faculty of Health is recruiting multiple academic roles for their recently accredited Physiotherapy program. We are seeking innovative and progressive early to mid-career academics to contribute to impactful teaching and research for this exciting undergraduate course. Your core responsibilities will include: Deliver high-quality teaching, educational design, and curriculum design. Contribute to the Faculty’s research profile through publications in high-quality journals and successful applications for grant funding, independently or as a member of a team. Developing and maintaining partnerships with health and social care providers, educational institutions, and within the wider community. Senior Lecturers will also be expected to provide a meaningful level of leadership in scholarship and/or professional activities relevant to the profession, along with significantly contributing to the Physiotherapy programs. About you We are seeking academics with a relevant qualification to the level of appointment, and a minimum of four years academic and/or professional experience. You will have current unrestricted registration, or be eligible for unrestricted registration as a physiotherapist with AHPRA. You will bring: The ability to work independently and collaboratively in teaching and research. A proven track record in publishing high-quality research and preparing effective reports. Experience supervising Honours and HDR students. Strong communication skills and a passion for shaping the next generation of physiotherapists. Candidates must demonstrate the required levels of teaching, research, and service as outlined in the candidate booklet for each academic level. These positions are: Full-time or part-time, continuing (permanent) Located at either Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450, or Lismore, NSW 2480. Generous relocation support is available. The full-time equivalent base salary will be in a range of: The level of appointment will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.The base salary for Academic Level A ranges from $78,287 - $105,224 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $123,112. The base salary for Academic Level B ranges from $110,611 - $130,814 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $153,052. The base salary for Academic Level C ranges from $134,848 - $155,046 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $181,403.
