Position Overview The Associate Medical Director , under the direction of the Medical Director, works in developing Solvita’s policy and evaluating medical safety and suitability in areas including tissue donors, donor notification and counseling, and adverse events reports. In accordance with standard operating procedures, follows all applicable regulatory standards. Desired Qualifications: One year experience in Tissue Banking preferred. Eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio. About Solvita We began in Dayton in 1964 as the region’s first centralized blood bank. Solvita collects and provides all blood products for hospitals in our 15-county region and beyond. The tissue bank was born in 1986 and is now one of the nation’s largest tissue banks.
