Northwest Regional Hospital Medical Unit consists of a 27-bed General Medical Ward, a 15-bed Isolation General Medicine Unit, and an 8-bed Acute Medical Unit (AMU) for short stay patients. We specialize in providing comprehensive care to people living with complex medical conditions including acute stroke, palliative care and end of life nursing, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac conditions, and acute delirium. The Isolation area provides care for various transmission-based infections including COVID-19. The Role: The North West Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join their team. The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice: Works in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and other senior staff to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework. Assists the NUM with the planning and management of staff and resources and provides operational leadership through the coordination of the day-to-day patient care activities, including patient flow. Details of appointment: Permanent, full-time, shift worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from March 2025. Salary: $106,570 to $112,440 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type. Benefits available to eligible candidates: Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.
