As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (A/NUM), you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality nursing within the Plastics, Orthopaedic, Dermatology and Spinal Outpatients Department. Working closely with the Nursing Unit Manager, you will help foster a collaborative and supportive environment for staff while driving continuity and consistency of care. You will lead practice improvements, support ward or unit management responsibilities such as rostering, recruitment, and performance management, and contribute to financial and resource planning. About You We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. To excel in this role, you will need: Qualifications : Registration or eligibility for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, along with a current practising certificate. Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capacity to foster innovation, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture. Experience : A minimum of 3 years of post-registration experience, with demonstrated competence in nursing/midwifery practice, leadership, and supervising staff. Knowledge : Sound understanding of legislation, standards, and codes, as well as the Australian National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and contemporary healthcare issues.
