We’re looking for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager who is passionate about Mental Health and playing a key role in leading a multidisciplinary team. Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide support with the clinical and administrative management of the Secure Extended Care Unit (SECU), ensuring the achievement of quality patient outcomes. This is a part-time, fixed-term position until 8th September 2025. While there will be shift work involved, this part-time position provides the flexibility of a work-life balance, allowing you to spend time with family and enjoy all that the Gippsland region has to offer. Our Flynn Unit is a 31-bed unit which provides care for people aged between 16-65 years, delivering acute treatment and recovery-based interventions. About you You will have a passion for Mental Health, a desire to make a real difference, and be a skilled people leader. We are looking for candidates with: Registered Nurse (Division 1) with post-basic qualifications in Psychiatric Nursing, holding current AHPRA Registration. Sound clinical knowledge, skills, and experience. Sound knowledge of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 and other relevant legislation.
