Associate/Senior Associate - Restructuring & Insolvency - Sydney Leading top tier firm seeks Associates & Senior Associates (2-8 PQE) for their R&I practice. 07th February, 2025 Our client is a leading top tier and international firm that is seeking Associates and Senior Associates (2–8 years PQE) to join its Restructuring & Insolvency team, which sits within a highly regarded Disputes and Investigations Practice. Recognised as a market leader in the Asia-Pacific region, the team works on some of the most complex and high-profile restructuring and insolvency matters, often with a cross-border focus. This role offers exposure to a broad range of work across different partners and sectors, with opportunities to specialise in areas of interest while developing a strong technical foundation. You will have the opportunity to advise on: Large and complex corporate restructures and workouts Formal insolvency administrations, including receiverships, administrations, and liquidations, acting for major banks, private capital funds, and leading accounting firms Distressed investment opportunities for private capital funds Cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters in collaboration with international alliance partners Significant commercial litigation for top-tier Australian and global clients Ideally, you will have the following: Experience in back-end restructuring and insolvency at a top tier, mid tier or international law firm (a mix of restructuring, insolvency, and commercial litigation experience is welcome) Strong ability to manage complex matters, build client relationships, and contribute to business development A proactive approach to learning, networking, and mentoring others This is an exciting opportunity to work on market-leading matters in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
