Job Description
As an Audit Assistant at RSM, you will work on client engagements to provide assurance services. You will support Seniors and Managers as you apply technical accounting principles to testing and controls. As an Audit Assistant, you will also work towards achieving your CA qualification. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Apply fundamental audit skills as incorporated in the RSM audit process; General understanding of Accounting and Audit Standards; Have a working knowledge of the fundamental electronic audit tools; Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings; Assist with the preparation of reports for management concerning the scope of an audit; Complete other allocated tasks in accordance with directions given. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major; Obtain CA (or similar qualification) or relevant approved post-graduate study. DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES: Strong attention to detail; Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
