Location: Secret Harbour, Rockingham, WA. We are looking for an enthusiastic audiologist/speech therapist to join our supportive team and provide an excellent service at our leading audiology practice in Secret Harbour. As part of our team, your expertise will play a vital role in supporting patients with hearing loss and auditory processing disorder. About us: CAPable Hearing Solutions is well known for supporting clients with Auditory Processing Disorder, as we are one of the only clinics in Australia to offer full assessments and therapy for this. Auditory Processing Disorder is not hearing loss; it is a disruption within the brain that causes people to hear things slightly differently and can cause a huge impact on their daily life and can often go undiagnosed. It is suspected that 5% of all children suffer from Auditory Processing Disorder. We offer tailored therapy and make significant improvements for our clients, ensuring they are more confident when they have left the clinic. Our books are completely full, and we have a long waiting list, and we would love for another enthusiastic clinician to have this training and make an impact on even more lives. About the role In this role, you will: Deliver individualized therapy and remediation programs for clients with APD. Collaborate with audiologists and other professionals to ensure holistic care. Receive comprehensive in-house training on APD therapy approaches. Work flexible hours tailored to your needs, with part-time or full-time options. Conversate clearly and sensitively with clients, their families, and medical professionals. Who should apply? Speech Pathologists/Audiologists: Ideal for overseas-trained professionals in the process of converting their qualifications to the Australian equivalent. Therapists with a background in providing one-on-one or small-group interventions. Individuals passionate about empowering clients to overcome auditory challenges. Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology, Audiology, or a related field. Provisional or working towards full registration with relevant Australian professional bodies (e.g., AA, AcAUD inc HAASA, SPA). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A keen interest in auditory processing and a commitment to ongoing learning. Have a clear understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.
