With our sights set on becoming the world's number one supplier of premium wool, we're on the lookout for an exceptional Australia Supply Manager to join our team. The Role In this pivotal position, you’ll continue to roll out NZM’s ZQ & ZQRX integrity programme, recognising and benefiting great Australian wool growers. You will oversee all wool procurement activities in Australia. You will drive the procurement of high-quality wool, ensuring sufficient supply to fulfil brand partner contracts and positioning NZM as a global leader in the supply of ethically grown and sourced wool. Specifically, you will: Identify & meet with wool growers with an interest and potential to qualify as ZQ & ZQRX suppliers. Ensure each grower gains a full understanding of the value of ZQ & ZQRX to their individual enterprise. Develop strong commercial relationships with key growers within Australia, identifying their needs and requirements. Procure bales of wool through signing up new grower clients and additional volumes. Develop strong commercial partnerships with the NZM Australia broker network to support the procurement of wool across a wide grower base. The Person 10+ years of extensive commercial experience, with a deep understanding of wool characteristics and on-farm production. Proven track record in a similar role, ideally with extensive experience in wool procurement and supply chain management. Tertiary qualification in business, sales, supply chain, or another relevant area. Solutions-focused with an ability to think strategically to drive results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset and ability to work seamlessly with others. Commercial and business acumen. Ready to join the team?
