Lead and oversee a team of technicians and external vendors. Monitor vehicle repairs and reconditioning timelines. Work closely with the Sales team to prioritise reconditioning schedules. Control reconditioning costs while maintaining quality standards. Conduct final quality inspections, ensuring vehicles meet dealership standards. Maintain accurate records of repair orders, costs, and vehicle readiness. Troubleshoot workflow or technical challenges and implement fast, effective solutions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, dealership policies, and industry best practices. What You Bring to the Team Strong leadership and team management experience in a fast-paced environment. Deep understanding of vehicle repairs, bodywork, detailing, and reconditioning processes. Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage reconditioning timelines efficiently. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for liaising with vendors, technicians, and dealership leadership. Ability to control reconditioning costs while delivering high-quality outcomes. Experience with dealership management software, repair order systems, and inventory tracking tools. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot challenges and implement solutions quickly. Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology is Essential. Current Victorian Roadworthy Tester’s Licence is Highly Regarded. Proven Experience in automotive service, reconditioning or fixed operations, preferably within a dealership setting.
