Avenues College | Digital Tech/Design and Technology $80,093 – $116,162 p.a FTE / Teacher Conditions Avenues College exists to deliver high quality, inclusive education. We are currently seeking a Teacher of Digital Technology and Design and Technology subjects. While we’d ideally like someone who can teach both, anyone with a specialisation area in either is encouraged to apply. An interest or experience in any of the following subjects would be considered: Design and Technology (Communication Products, Materials or Systems), Computer-aided Design or any branch of Digital Technologies. We are open to supporting a student with a Special Authority to Teach if they are in their final year of a teaching degree. While this is a full-time position, we can negotiate different fractions of time to support a split into other teaching areas, or a job-sharing arrangement. What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant field. Current registration as a teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia. Proven experience teaching secondary school students, preferably within a public-school setting. Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and its effective integration into lesson planning and delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. What to do now?
