About the Role I'm seeking a proactive and self-motivated Azure Infrastructure Technical Lead to take ownership of the organisation's Azure Cloud platform. In this role, you'll leverage secure DevOps practices to manage, optimise, and scale the infrastructure. You'll also play a pivotal part in shaping the IT strategy, supporting business objectives, and enhancing cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities Design, secure, and manage the Azure platform to align with best practices, ensuring scalability and cost optimization. Proactively harden and patch infrastructure, adhering to internal policies and external regulatory standards. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using tools like Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Bicep. Provide day-to-day technical leadership for Azure services, including Windows Server IaaS, Azure Active Directory, Key Vault, and Sentinel. Work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Leverage Azure Monitor and other tools to identify and resolve performance issues, ensuring resilience and efficiency. What I'm Looking For Strong IT infrastructure background with a focus on the bigger picture with Azure roadmap input, planning and deployment. Demonstrated experience managing Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments with a focus on security and compliance (Azure Cloud certifications beneficial). Proficiency with automation tools (PowerShell, Terraform, Bicep) and cloud recovery strategies. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployment tools. Strong mentoring skills and the ability to work effectively in high-paced environments. Experience working within the finance and lending domain a big plus.
