$125 - $155 per hour (inc-Super) Baseline Security Clearance required - Obtain NV1 Canberra City - WFH / Remote considered Our client, a large Federal Government organisation, whose focus is on biosecurity, agriculture, and trade, is seeking multiple Azure Platform Engineers (MLOps & Azure AI) for a long 12+12+12 month contract, based in Canberra (remote/WFH considered). Duties of the Platform Engineer (IaaS, MLOps & Azure AI) Design, build & manage cloud-hosted infrastructure using infrastructure as code in support of data and analytics workloads. Solution design, development, and implementation of infrastructure in Azure in support of data and analytics workloads. Technology Experience Required Azure hosted Data and Analytics Platforms such as:Data LakeSQL DatabasesAzure DatabricksAzure AI Services (such as Open AI and AI Search)Microsoft Fabric Infrastructure as Code. Terraform based infrastructure management. Skills and Experience Required Experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud-hosted platforms and services (Infrastructure, Platform, and Software as a Service). Experience developing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure using an infrastructure as code (IaC) approach. Understanding of cloud security features for platforms and services such as Identity and Access Management, Networking, and Policy. Experience working in Data and Analytics focused projects (Data Engineering, Data Science, or AI). Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams using an Agile methodology. Experience in administration of Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and other AI services. Experience working with MLOps or LLMOps (desired). Experience working with Azure AI Services (desired). Experience with administration and enablement of Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, or Microsoft Fabric (desired).
