About The Role JourneyOne is seeking a B2B Marketing Officer to join our small in-house marketing team. The role will work alongside the Marketing and Branding Lead and the B2B Marketing Coordinator (Campaigns and Communications). The Marketing Officer will play an essential role in the strategic initiatives across JourneyOne and our wider family of businesses. You will work closely with senior leaders in our businesses to ensure that our marketing and branding strategies support the overarching strategic vision; enable us to reach our target audience; and—most importantly—align with our guiding principles and values. You will play a key role in the execution of these strategies to drive brand growth, increase market awareness, and enhance client engagement.Salary range: $73,000 - $75,000 plus superAbout JourneyOne: JourneyOne is a WA-based business and technology consultancy, founded on the mission of making every journey remarkable. We work closely with our two sister businesses, DataDivers and ProcessPath. Grouped together, we operate under the unifying umbrella brand Rmkble. While JourneyOne is the ‘home' business for the small in-house branding and marketing team, we operate at the Rmkble level. This means that your role will equally serve JourneyOne, DataDivers, ProcessPath, and Rmkble itself. JourneyOne is also the team behind Jibility, a strategic roadmapping SaaS tool with a global user base. Your role will be required to assist with Jibility's marketing on an ad hoc basis. Rmkble and its businesses share a core set of principles and values that guide every decision we make. Our mission to make every journey remarkable ensures that we are people-focused in everything that we do.Key responsibilities: Market research and analysis - undertake market research, competitor analysis, and target persona definition. Identify opportunities and recommend strategies for key channels. Channel audits - regularly analyse our marketing channels and activities to ensure their relevance and effectiveness in achieving business goals. Brand management - participate in the development and maintenance of the brand book, style guide, graphic library and branded templates. Develop creative briefs and manage external design partners. Website management - design, build, and maintain multiple websites in the Webflow platform. Involves regular testing and stakeholder consultation to ensure content is relevant and promotes brand growth. Analyse website traffic, usability and user behaviour as input into initiatives launched to further enhance the business websites to drive business growth. Search engine optimisation - conduct keyword research to identify market opportunities for improving discoverability of our products and services. Analyse, audit and manage the optimisation of our websites for search. Product marketing campaign management - support business growth by assisting with product marketing strategy development and execution. Includes campaign planning, multimedia creation, copywriting, PR, and campaign analysis. Social media management - manage social media channels such as LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest. Undertake market research and analysis tasks to support the identification of new methods for raising brand awareness via social media channels. Community engagement - coordinate engagement with local community and industry events, including conference sponsorships, community co-organisation, and higher education partnerships. Content creation - develop a range of multimedia content for use on our digital channels, including photography, videos, graphics, documents and animations. Copywriting - assist with the development of case studies, blogs and whitepapers. Merchandising - source, design and manage branded merchandise. Requirements Must have: Bachelor's degree in commerce, majoring in Marketing or equivalent. 2+ years' experience in a similar role. Proficiency with Canva and the Adobe Suite (particularly Illustrator). High level of competency in building and maintaining websites in Webflow. Basic knowledge of CSS. Good knowledge of UI and UX best practices. Experience with website analysis tools, including Google Analytics, SE Ranking (or equivalent), and Hotjar (or equivalent). Experience managing business pages on LinkedIn. Analytical, data-driven approach to digital campaign creation and execution. You should thrive in a plan-do-learn environment, applying a critical eye to all marketing activity and adapting quickly based on lessons learned. Great to have: Previous experience in B2B and/or professional services marketing. Knowledge of Western Australia's technology community landscape (meetups, conferences, training/educational organisations, etc). Experience in stakeholder engagement/management (including senior leadership). Please note that this is an in-person role, therefore you must be based in Perth, Western Australia. You must hold full-time, unrestricted working rights for Western Australia to be considered. Agency applications will not be accepted.
