Technical Business Analyst Location: MelbourneStart Date: ASAPAbout the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to contribute to a critical Digital Resilience Program. This initiative focuses on: Digital Modernisation : Reducing system vulnerabilities and streamlining operations for improved stability and efficiency. Digital Resilience : Enhancing performance and minimizing outages through a microservices-based architecture that includes React, front-end mini apps, and other microservices components. This role supports the evolution of a stable, scalable, and resilient architecture designed to reduce breakdowns and complexity. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Analysis : Gather and analyze requirements related to transaction history, account details (lists, balances, limits), and payments. Solution Development : Create solutions enabling access to account balances and transaction history during back-end outages. Agile Collaboration : Work within Agile frameworks to ensure alignment with methodologies, focusing on progressive elaboration. Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate effectively with technical and business teams to deliver outcomes through user stories, epics, and features. Planning & Asset Management : Participate in planning sessions and manage existing technical assets efficiently. Essential Skills and Experience: Prior experience in retail banking, preferably within Australian institutions. Hands-on expertise in digital banking platforms, including internet banking and advanced solutions. Strong understanding of microservices architecture, mini-apps, caching mechanisms, and Operational Data Stores (ODS). Proficiency in Agile practices, specifically tailored to financial institutions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams. Proven ability to translate technical requirements into actionable business solutions. Melbourne-based candidates only. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with specific banking systems like NabConnect or equivalent. Comprehensive exposure to transaction types, including account history, balances, and payment functionalities.
