Role: BDM (Telecom & Media) Experience: 10+ Years (in ANZ Market) Location: Sydney Highly enterprising, dynamic Sales BDM intent to bring in new Logos and meet the KPI targets An appropriate University qualification Relevant sales experience of a minimum of 13+ years within a progressive, dynamic and changing organization Relevant services sales experience in Telecom/Media Industry Relevant experience in front-ending and driving large bids High level of sales expertise and business sense within the ICT Industry High level skills in preparing and presenting official detailed reports to high level representatives internally and externally within the industry High level skills and ability to effectively present sales initiatives to clients and industry Skills in interpreting industry trends, changes in economic indicators and competitor activity Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain calm and composed in pressure situations Role Descriptions: Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business - Generate leads through personal and professional network and research Bring in New Logos in the Telecom & Media Industry Meet potential clients within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities Identify and set-up executive meetings with potential clients and the decision-makers within the client prospect organization Articulate and manage the TCS value proposition, with the support from global practices, TCS Industry vertical across the designated verticals of Telecom & Media Consultative Services sales ability & strategic selling skills Relationship building with influencers, decision-makers and CXOs Strategize and present and report information on the designated accounts and sales results to the Country Manager. Define Strategy and Plans for the designated vertical of Telecom & Media for Australia Weekly reports to be submitted to Sales Director, Country Manager with updates on meetings, opportunities Develop relationships with Technology Partners and TPA’s focused on the vertical and have a regular cadence with the partners Report and track target achievements for the Telecom & Media vertical Coordinate pre-sales and company resources to ensure efficient sales results Develop good working relationships with TCS internal personnel both within ANZ and overseas Ensure that any Proposals, Pricing and representations have had the appropriate governance and internal signoff to high quality standards Thank you for your interest in applying for this position with TCS.
