Job Description Ensure efficient, friendly and professional beverage service is provided to all guests. Familiarise yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met. Set up systems to protect and maintain control of bar service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry out regular stock takes. Ensure all beverages are prepared according to standard recipes and maintain beverage cost at the percentage detailed in the budget or as instructed by the Restaurant and Bar Manager. Set up and maintain a weekly cleaning schedule for the bar area to achieve the highest possible hygiene and cleaning standards. Ensure all mise en place is completed prior to guests arriving. Ensure team members are competent in beverage and wine list knowledge, are aware of current promotions and are able to maximise sales to guests. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a food and beverage outlet. Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate. Strong knowledge of a variety of beverages including beer, wine, spirits and cocktails. Micros knowledge desirable.
