This is your chance to play a key role in the creation of Sydney’s newest and vibrant food and retail destination. Join Hay St Market as our Bar Manager and lead the operations of the upcoming bars. Curate innovative, seasonal drinks, manage a dynamic team and create unforgettable experiences. Stay ahead of beverage trends while driving sales in a vibrant, fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple bars, ensuring smooth service and high standards Collaborate to create innovative, seasonal drinks that keep up with the latest trends and local tastes Lead a talented bar team, providing training and creating a fun, energetic atmosphere Curate signature cocktails, craft beers, and wines that reflect the latest in spirits and mixology Foster exceptional customer experiences with engaging events and personalized drink recommendations Manage inventory, stock levels, and supplier relationships to ensure quality and minimise waste Drive sales and profitability, working closely with the Operations Manager on financial performance and promotions Conduct regular stock audits and ensure inventory is stored correctly and safely, complying with health and safety standards Who we are looking for: Previous experience as a Bar Manager or similar position in a high volume fast pace environment Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktail trends, and mixology with the ability to craft innovative and seasonal beverages Passion for staying ahead of beverage trends, particularly in spirits, cocktails, and wine pairings Exceptional customer service and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team In-depth knowledge of liquor licensing laws, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), and food safety standards Why Hay St Market?
