About The Role CPBS is seeking an experienced leader in behaviour analytic services for our full-time Behaviour Services Branch Manager role. Based in and around the South East Melbourne region , this is a great opportunity to impart and further develop your leadership skills and experience. As our Behaviour Services Branch manager you'll report to the Head of Early Intervention Victoria and work with our dedicated Bright Beginnings team. You'll be responsible for driving clinical leadership and professional standards among a team of skilled Behaviour Analysts and Therapists. What You'll Do Support the delivery of best-practice and high-quality programs, providing consultation and in-session support to Behaviour Analysts, Therapists and Technicians. Supervise, mentor, support and train team members. Maintain up-to-date knowledge in areas including Positive Behaviour Support and trauma-informed practice, ensuring team members consider these areas when designing plans and programs. Demonstrate an awareness of neurodiverse affirming practices and perspectives, supporting team members to adapt programs to recognise individual differences, strengths and preferences. Provide support to Behaviour Analysts, Therapists and Technicians regarding complex and challenging behaviour. Ensure appropriate intervention strategies are implemented, and that relevant training is provided to parents and other key stakeholders. Develop and facilitate education and training sessions with key stakeholders, broadening community knowledge of behavioural interventions and how to incorporate strategies in various environments. What You'll Need Successful completion of a relevant Master’s level coursework in the Behaviour Analytic field. Advanced professional experience working with participants who are neurodiverse or have disabilities. Active certification as one (or more) of the following: Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA) with ABA Australia and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with the BACB. Experience providing leadership and supervision to senior behaviour analytic professionals, including BCBA's and Behaviour Therapists in a variety of situations and environments. Experience in the development and implementation of education and training programs for internal and external stakeholders. High level oral and written English communication skills including the demonstrated ability to prepare and finalise technical documents in a timely manner. Demonstrated and effective time management skills including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities set in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s licence and vehicle.
