Employment Type : Temporary Part Time; 32 hours per week up to February 2026Position Classification : Health Education Officer GraduateRemuneration : $36.04 - $57.58 per hour + Annual leave loading + 11.5% SuperannuationLocation : Royal Prince Alfred HospitalRequisition ID : REQ547967 About the Role This position is responsible for managing, coordinating and providing specialist bereavement counselling services and supporting family members and carers of deceased patients within the SLHD. In addition, the position will provide education to staff and students as necessary, facilitate and organise the biannual Remembrance Services, and participate in ongoing quality assurance projects as required. This role requires to work across Sydney Local Health District. Ideal Candidate Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 are acceptable). Has relevant tertiary qualifications, substantial experience in bereavement counselling and sound knowledge of theories of grief and bereavement. Experienced in the provision of training and education programs to staff and students. Benefits and Perks!
