Base pay range A$110,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr About the Company BCorp accredited company offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Bid Coordinator or Bid Manager to build upon their existing skillset in delivering bid and tender documentation within a building services design engineering consultancy. About the Role This role presents a great opportunity to demonstrate fresh ideas on how to effectively support quality bids, tenders and panels submissions, while supporting other business support staff and functions. Working on niche, high end projects, with team collaboration and a focus on excellence. The role includes managing the end-to-end bid process, leading a small bid and support team. With an excellent balance of autonomy and teamwork, this role would ideally suit someone with an interest in storytelling; a desire to provide information in a compelling and confident manner to elevate and create stand-out tender and bid proposals. Responsibilities Undertake bid activities: bid preparation, technical content coordination, non-technical proposal writing, submissions, coordination of post-tender follow ups, clarifications and presentations. Coordination of responses from internal stakeholders, including QA, OHS, HR, finance, to gather required information for expression of interests, pre-qualification tender questionnaires, tenders and bids, panels, capability statements and relevant bid/tender materials. Coordination of submissions database and related communication materials for bids, including CV's, company profiles and project sheet updates. Undertake pipeline, bid and panel management. Monitor new project opportunities and support business development activities. Work independently and collaboratively with team members to create content and deliver Steensen Varming’s values and brand. Support, train and mentor junior members of the wider business support team including management of work tasks and prioritisation. Implementation of Bids and panel management best practice in coordination with the wider marketing stakeholders. Assist in managing the company's relationships and interactions with clients and collaborators (CRM). Manage and provide direction on maintaining a consistent standard and structure of the internal Business Development & Marketing Database. Undertake project contract administration procedures, coordination of contract reviews and maintain a register of deeds and contracts. Implement regular internal system improvements and upgrades in line with QA requirements. Adaptable teamwork focus, with coverage within the wider administrative and support team, where essential for the organisation, to manage changing needs in the wider support team. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years experience with bid processes. Ideally, industry knowledge within building services, architecture or construction. A degree in Humanities/the Arts or Business, is preferred. Required Skills Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals, through story telling and presentation. Attention to Detail: Through attention to detail to ensure bid documents are accurate, and presented to the company formatting standards. Software Proficiency: Advanced formatting skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with intermediate to advanced experience in InDesign. Familiarity with CRM software, such as Eltek Workbook and a willingness to develop expertise with CRM, preferred. Organisation: Contribute to the ongoing organisation and update of a centralised collateral database and library, ensuring all bid-related materials and templates are accurate and easily accessible. Business Etiquette: Working with integrity and confidentiality, displaying a high level of emotional intelligence and professionalism. Multitasking: Maintain a high attention to detail and accuracy of own work, within in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks, people and deadlines. Flexibility: Willingness to support a positive company culture and communicate with staff members globally. People Management: Ability to support staff and assist with their professional development. Development and Growth: A willingness to undertake Continual Professional Development in relevant subjects.
