The Role Assist in packaging and delivery of CarbonBuilder products for commercial projects. Assist in preparation, packaging and delivery of chemicals required for crop seed treatment. Assist in small-scale bioproduction including preparation of substrate, upstream processing, downstream processing and quality control. Assist in day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the bioproduction facility to ensure safe operation. Assist in maintaining accurate production and delivery records, including batch records and equipment logs. Adhere to clean handling, biosafety protocols and relevant GMP regulations. The Person Understanding concepts and processes of handling biological materials. Experience in weighing, mixing, or preparing chemical and biological substrates. Attention to detail ensuring correct labeling and packaging. Careful documentation of records, including batch numbers, delivery logs, and equipment usage. Ability to follow biosafety and GMP protocols meticulously to prevent contamination or errors. Ability to handle laboratory materials, packaging tools, and equipment efficiently. Physically fit and able to complete tasks that may require standing for long periods, lifting packages (10-15 Kg), or working in temperature-controlled environments. Commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment. Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet delivery schedules. Cooperative attitude to work effectively in a team setting. Clear communication skills to report issues, follow instructions, and interact with colleagues. Open to learning new techniques or protocols as needed. Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks, from cleaning and maintenance to packaging and production. Experience with microbiology laboratory tools such as autoclaves, biosafety cabinets, centrifuges, or filtration systems is a plus. Availability after-hours and during the weekends will be an advantage. Preferred Qualifications A background in microbiology, biotechnology, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory. Previous experience in laboratory or production environments is desirable. An Australian driver licence and access to own vehicle would be preferred.
