Job Description

Hamilton location Open to Full-time / PT / School Hours Start W/C March 17 for a handover. Our client is an established business which is part of a Group of companies. We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join the team on a 2-3 month contract. You will be responsible for all bookkeeping and accounts processing to provide assistance to the GM. Your daily tasks will include the following: Maintain day-to-day running of the accounts. Bank accounts and reconciliations, posting payments and receipts. Preparing balance sheet reconciliations / Prepare a small weekly payroll. Month-end process including intercompany journal and accruals. Process AP invoices and raising sales invoices. Tax compliance such as BAS, PAYG, GST etc. Preparation of Management reports and Financial reports as required. Provides administrative support to the GM. To be successful you will need: Previous experience as Bookkeeper within an SME or practice. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Execute tasks accurately with thorough process and great attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong Excel skills with the ability to manage Excel spreadsheets and use intermediate level formulas. Xero knowledge advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
