Job Description Embark on an exciting opportunity as a full-time remote Bookkeeper for a dynamic dental clinic in Sydney. This role offers a unique blend of financial management and healthcare industry exposure. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks with precision and attention to detail Craft comprehensive monthly management reports that offer clear insights into the clinic’s financial performance Conduct in-depth financial data analysis, providing explanations for trends and anomalies Execute general journal entries with accuracy and timeliness Collaborate with clinic management to maintain impeccable financial records Contribute to financial decision-making processes by offering data-driven recommendations Assist in developing and implementing financial best practices tailored to the dental industry Stay abreast of relevant accounting standards and regulations in the Australian healthcare sector Requirements Should have experience in the Australian market Proven track record in bookkeeping, with a preference for experience in healthcare or service industries Robust understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly those relevant to medical practices Demonstrated proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy in all tasks Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance team members Proficiency in modern accounting software and willingness to adapt to clinic-specific tools Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong connections with the team Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment Familiarity with Australian tax regulations and compliance requirements for medical practices is a plus IMPORTANT!!
