Learn new skills and meet your career goals with a wide range of programs, courses and resources.The key duties of the position include The Branch Manager for Australian Government Architecture and Policy (AGAP) branch sits within the Strategy, Planning and Performance (SPP) Division and is responsible for leading the DTA's centralised strategic policy and standards capability.The role supports the DTA Executive Board and SPP Division General Manager in the leadership and direction setting of the DTA. A focus for the role is on leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of the DTA's digital policy and standards portfolio, including the Australian Government Architecture.Please Note: This role may sometimes require interstate travel.The key duties of the position are: Lead and manage a diverse team of digital policy program and technical professionals spanning a number of priorities including but not limited to the Australian Government Architecture, business and technical standards, and digital experience. Lead the development, delivery and measurement of complex and sensitive digital policy implementation including but not limited to ICT investment, digital experience, and emerging technologies. Develop the depth, breadth and reach of the Australian Government Architecture to promote reuse and reduce risks associated with digital investments across the Australian Government. Undertake research and analysis to identify digital policy development options, extracting and summarising key information, as well as identifying implementation risks and impacts, to inform advice to the Executive Board and Minister. Oversee, coordinate, and influence the suite of digital policies managed across the DTA and wider APS to ensure coherence and alignment across the system, including through investment processes, to support the government digital transformation agenda as articulated in the Data and Digital Government Strategy. Prepare and contribute to the development of Government documentation and advice, such as Cabinet submissions, briefings, and discussion papers. Identify and assess options for improving the implementation and cost-benefit of digital policy models for government, users and the community. Prepare Ministerial and Parliamentary correspondence and responses to enquiries. Lead engagement across the DTA to make connections and inform the digital services external stakeholders on issues relating to cross-cutting or strategic digital policy issues. Identify and engage with relevant stakeholders to gain their support and/or input to proposed digital policy, including the development of whole of government policy narratives. Support the development of communication strategies and education campaigns to inform stakeholders and promote the benefits and implications of digital policy changes. Maintain an awareness of policy work being undertaken in other relevant work streams and across the APS to identify interrelationships and impacts. Represent the DTA at a variety of external forums and committees both domestically and internationally including but not limited to Senate Estimates, inter-governmental and jurisdictional working groups, audit committees, and Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development facilitated forums. #J-18808-Ljbffr
