The Opportunity We are now looking for a full-time Complex Manager based in Wellington, NSW. Splitting your time between five farms and the site office, this role reports to the Australian Production Manager and involves the planning and coordinating of the Wellington facilities, leading our team of dedicated professionals including Farm Managers, Maintenance Supervisor and contractors to achieve the efficient and effective operation of our poultry breeding complex. More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing strategic direction and oversight for the efficient operation of the poultry breeding complex Supervising and supporting reporting managers and teams to align with organisational goals Managing resource allocation, including labour, equipment, and materials for efficiency and cost-effectiveness Developing and monitoring facility budgets, ensuring operational budget targets are met Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, health and safety regulations, and implementing quality control measures Overseeing maintenance and servicing of equipment and facilities to ensure uninterrupted operations Leading and motivating teams to achieve operational excellence and uphold animal welfare standards Ensuring a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement What We Need From You To qualify, you will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the poultry industry, preferably in a complex or multi-facility environment. Prior experience in rearing and production is also considered essential. A certification in management or leadership will be highly advantageous but not essential, as will a qualification in Agriculture/Animal Husbandry. Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued: Leadership and the ability to motivate a team Strategic planning and execution Effective communication, both verbal and written Problem-solving and analytical skills Decision-making under pressure As our ideal candidate, you will possess the ability to lead and inspire, think strategically, and communicate effectively at all levels.
