TP (Tullett Prebon) A world-leading intermediary in the wholesale financial and energy markets, Tullett Prebon seeks to maximise value for its clients' trading activities across voice, hybrid and pure electronic channels. We offer broking services for a wide range of asset classes, including Equities, Credit, FX, Rates and Insurance Derivatives. Across all asset classes, Tullett Prebon offers e-solutions to give clients the choice to enter prices and execute trades electronically and directly via one of our hybrid electronic trading systems, or to engage with brokers to help identify and negotiate trades. Role Overview Located in Sydney, this is a wonderful opportunity to develop a long term and rewarding career on the Interest Rates Desk. As a specialist in Interest Rates Swaps, you will have responsibility for driving new business opportunities through interaction with clients and providing a consultative sales approach to their needs to ensure high level client attraction. A competitive salary of $95,000 + bonus is offered on a full-time basis. Role Responsibilities Represent and promote TPICAP’s Interest Rate Swaps e-solutions and services to clients, enhancing the company's market presence and reputation. Identify potential trade opportunities by analysing market trends, client needs and develop tailored strategies to drive sales. Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients and proactively reach out to potential new clients to expand the business. Maintain a deep understanding of TPICP Interest Rate Swaps e-solutions and services, market conditions, and industry developments, engaging with stakeholders through trade calls, surveys, and industry events like trade shows and conferences. Work closely with the sales and business development teams to align with the desk’s overall strategy and explore new business opportunities, focusing on emerging markets, products, and client demands. Understand pertinent regulations within the evolving regulatory landscape. Support a risk and compliance aware culture and comply with group policies. Experience / Competences Essential You’ll have excellent communication skills, and proven ability to build rapport and develop relationships. You’ll have superb attention to detail and be able to manage multiple tasks within strict timeframes. You’ll be adept at working with and contributing to a team and a have a willingness to ongoing personal development. You will be highly motivated, keen to succeed but not at the expense of your team’s success and you’ll always act with integrity and ethics. Desired : Highly desirable is experience in a technical sales role or in a capacity that focuses on relationship building. Knowledge and understanding of the Interest Rate Swaps market, with strong analytical skills, coupled with a degree in economics, finance or commerce is welcome but not essential.
