Your objective will be to raise equity capital for the fund from sophisticated investors. The role suits best an experienced distribution manager with an established network of sophisticated investors that you have a history of sharing investment opportunities with. This is rare because you can earn both significant short and long-term incentive bonuses based on your sales/capital raising performance in addition to bonuses based on the performance of the fund (earn a stake in the performance fee pool over time). The best bit – it’s a very attractive fund with a vanilla structure, low-risk characteristics, and very competitive returns. Remuneration To start, this is a contract position based on commission, but can very quickly move to a permanent base plus bonus (short, medium, and long-term bonuses) structure once mutual benefit is demonstrated and agreed upon between us. Role Description - Business Development / Distribution Manager - Capital Raising & Investor Relations This role represents an exciting opportunity to have real tangible input and ownership of fundraising activities and the success of the commercial property fund. The role involves sourcing new prospects, leaning on your existing network, presenting investment opportunities, and converting leads to investors. It's preferred that you have an existing network of sophisticated investors that you have a history of sharing investment opportunities with. You will work directly with the founder and executive management team. Responsible for sourcing and engaging with sophisticated investors, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices to build a robust network of sophisticated investors and raise capital for commercial property fund investments. Lead investor meetings and presentations to promote the fund investment opportunity. Maintain & record all sales activity within Deltine's CRM system. Assist fund administrator with the investor onboarding process, and act as the primary contact for investor enquiries, ensuring prompt responses. Act as a representative of Deltine Capital at industry and investor-related events to engage with current and prospective investors. Grow and support investor contributions and retention by assisting the management team with high-quality investor relations communications. Structure & Location We can be flexible with the structure and location of the role to suit your preferences (you may choose to take on this role full-time or part-time, and work remotely and/or from our Brisbane office). Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate will have: Experience in capital raising, investor relations, and business development Entrepreneurial spirit, energetic, personable, results-focused, and proactive in your approach Ideally you’ll have an existing network of contacts from which you can raise capital Strong financial acumen and understanding of commercial property investments Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proven track record in meeting fundraising targets and KPIs Knowledge of AFSL compliance and regulatory requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field To discuss this opportunity further, call David on 0402 700 272 or submit your CV.
