We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Life & Health subsidiary in Sydney which plays a major part in the success of Hannover Re globally. We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the team to work on our CPS230 Project. The role will be a fixed term contract position until December 2025 reporting directly to our Head of Projects & Innovation. About the role As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the business and Project Manager in research and analysis of business needs for our CPS230. Your day may look a little like: Managing daily workflow to ensure that deadlines are met, assisting in developing and delivering solutions within required timeframes. Translating business requirements into detailed documentation and participating in completing risk assessments alongside Project Manager. Assisting in maintaining risk register, mitigation suggestions, updating risk rating where necessary. Contributing to technology solutions from assessment to implementation and rollout. Coordinating or completing efficient testing of deliverables to ensure they meet the documented requirements. Providing regular feedback to stakeholders in weekly/fortnightly/monthly discussions. Effectively managing expectations from stakeholders around solution delivery and scope ensuring timely communication with all parties. Conducting reviews of current business processes and suggest improvements where applicable. Delivering training to internal staff on developments and projects with supporting documentation. Liaising with internal and external parties to address any matters. Preparing internal and external reports. You come equipped with You will need to have: Demonstrated Business Analyst experience minimum of a 3 years. Technical knowledge of tools and methodologies used for requirements gathering, documenting and reporting. Experience coordinating and/or completing efficient testing on developments to ensure they meet the requirements and objectives. Intermediate Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Professional qualification in related field is well regarded. Relationship management skills. Strategic thinking capabilities. Ability to liaise at a senior level. Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively. Clear and effective communication both written and verbal. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Professional integrity. Ability to listen and demonstrate empathy. Sound judgement and a non-bias view. Confidentiality. Ability to meet deadlines.
