Milestone IT is partnering with a leading healthcare provider to find an experienced Business Analyst with a focus on Electronic Medical Records (EMR) . Key Responsibilities: Business Process Analysis: Investigate and document current business workflows, specifically related to EMR systems, healthcare operations, and patient data management. Workflow Optimization: Identify areas for improvement within existing workflows, focusing on workflow triggers, transactions, and EMR-related processes. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to understand business needs, translating these into functional requirements for IT solutions. Documentation: Develop detailed business and technical documentation, including current-state workflows, process maps, and recommendations for optimization. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across IT, clinical departments, and management to ensure solutions align with both business goals and regulatory standards. Problem Solving: Identify process inefficiencies and suggest actionable solutions to improve productivity and reduce errors. Required Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare or health IT sector, specifically with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, data flow, and the impact of EMR systems on clinical operations. Familiarity with workflow triggers and transactions is essential. Skills: Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex business processes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
