Job Description Technical Business Analyst Job Description Reports to: Scrum Master Opportunity snapshot: SS&C is a global provider of investment and financial services and software for the financial services and healthcare industries. Some 18,000 financial services and healthcare organizations, from the world's largest institutions to local firms, manage and account for their investments using SS&C's products and services. The successful candidate will join one of our delivery teams to work primarily with our Australian Superannuation clients to provide consultation services and understand and document their business needs in order to scope the solution to lead to successful business outcomes and support the delivery of these solutions by our cross functional teams. Key responsibilities: Assessing and validating the suitability of requirements of others and ensuring that analysis standards and practices are met. Analysing and validating business and system solutions and contributing to other written requirement deliverables necessary to increase the business value and/or ensure quality of services and solutions. Production of functional design documentation and user stories including detailed acceptance criteria to support successful outcomes. Assure solutions adhere to requirements through the development and testing lifecycle through trusted partnerships with developers, testers and business stakeholders. Workshop requirements facilitation and solution demonstration ‘play back’. Requirement Traceability and change management. Support of the cross functional delivery team throughout the software development lifecycle. Competencies, Skills and Experience Essential Superannuation, Pension and Annuity Industry knowledge (RG 146 Qualification preferred). Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills across all enterprise levels. Strong experience facilitating workshops with a range of stakeholders. Extensive experience in requirements elicitation, definition, traceability, and management across different delivery methodologies. Strong skill and experience in business process analysis, process improvement and process modelling. Desirable Experience with SQL Server, JIRA and Confluence. Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Plans Industry knowledge. Understand investment options such as Securities, Warrants and ETFs. Experience delivering in Agile and traditional methodologies. CBAP (IIBA) or PBA (PMI) Certification.
