About the Role: As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in analyzing current systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and driving the implementation of effective solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements. Key Responsibilities: Process Analysis & Re-engineering: Conduct detailed analysis of existing business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend innovative solutions for optimization and efficiency gains. Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. System Analysis: Evaluate current systems and identify opportunities for improvement and integration. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with project goals. Gap Analysis: Identify discrepancies between current and desired states and propose solutions to bridge the gaps. Process Mapping & Modelling: Create detailed process maps and models to visualize current and future state processes. Testing & Validation: Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Change Management Support: Assist with the development and implementation of change management plans to ensure smooth transitions. Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the retail industry. Strong understanding of business process re-engineering principles and methodologies. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and processes. Excellent requirements gathering and documentation skills. Proficiency in process mapping and modelling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience with system analysis.
