Quigly are a boutique consultancy with a great network of clients across many industries.Currently we are looking for a Business Analyst to work in Fed Gov, requiring existing security vetting.12+12 month contract with the possibility to extend further.Location of work: ACTWorking arrangements: Onsite The role is Canberra based with minimal to no travel involved. Candidates will be required to work full time on site for no more than 40 hours per week, unless agreed to with their manager. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Elicit and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and research. Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories. Process Improvement & Solutions Development: Analyse existing processes and identify areas for optimisation to enhance software functionality. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the delivery of innovative solutions to complex problems. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key business partners and stakeholders. Manage expectations and facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical teams. Project Alignment: Ensure project deliverables align with customer and organisational strategic goals. Assess risks and compliance with standards and policies. Technical Expertise: Mobile Technologies: Understanding of mobile application functionalities and the implications of emerging technologies. Requirements Management Tools: Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar for managing user stories and project documentation. Data Analysis: Ability to interpret and communicate technical and business data insights. Documentation: Proficiency in creating detailed process flows, specifications, and user guides. Key Traits & Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to emerging technologies and dynamic project environments. Experience working in agile development environments. Why?
