You'll play a critical role in ensuring that key business and regulatory requirements are met through effective process improvements and workflow enhancements. This role requires someone with a strategy or consulting background, with strong analytical skills, heavyweight stakeholder engagement experience, and the ability to operate at a highly strategic level. As a strategically focused Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business needs for projects focused on improving regulatory reporting processes. Key Responsibilities: Manage the analysis and contribute to the delivery of strategic projects within a regulatory based reporting function. Partner with stakeholders to define, document, and communicate business requirements. Develop detailed process maps and collaborate with teams to design improved workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insights that drive decision-making. Ensure alignment with regulatory obligations and business objectives. To succeed in this critical role, you will offer: Considerable experience as a strategy based Business Analyst/Management Consultant in the financial services sector. A background of working across process, workflow, and policy projects. Demonstrable experience of the use of core business analysis tools and techniques including workshop facilitation, process mapping, requirements elicitation, and documentation. Strong analytical skills paired with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally. Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across different functions. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, adapting to shifting priorities and business requirements. Experience in prioritizing workload and activities, with the ability to organize time effectively across projects and independent pieces of work. Self-motivation with an adaptable and flexible approach to new situations and environments.
