Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Canberra, AustraliaContract: 15 monthsSecurity Clearance: TSPV (Top Secret Positive Vetting) RequiredJob Overview We are seeking a Business Analyst to work on a highly secure federal government project in Canberra. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ICT business analysis , stakeholder engagement, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau . This role requires TSPV clearance , strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive business improvements within a secure environment.Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Process Improvement: Investigate business needs, challenges, and opportunities, recommending solutions to optimize processes. Business Case Development: Prepare and contribute to business cases, defining benefits and process enhancements. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with key government stakeholders to understand needs and align objectives. Technical Analysis & Modelling: Use business analysis techniques, process modelling, and quality assurance to drive outcomes. ICT Problem-Solving: Analyze complex ICT business problems and propose actionable solutions. Compliance & Security: Ensure all business analysis work aligns with government policies, security requirements, and compliance standards. Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality work delivery. Technical Skills & Requirements: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Business Analytics, or Information Technology. TSPV (Top Secret Positive Vetting) security clearance is mandatory. Experience working in federal government projects within a secure environment. Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and business intelligence tools. Strong expertise in business process modeling and requirements management. SFIA Skills: BSMO 4, BPRE 5, BUSA 5, REQM 5.
