Direct message the job poster from PKF Sydney & Newcastle Talent Acquisition Specialist - Recruitment Manager Exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst/Tech Stack Supervisor to join our Firm Based in Newcastle or Sydney office This is a Fulltime position with flexibility from 30 hours a week PKF Newcastle & Sydney – our dynamic, fast-paced, multi-disciplinary top 10 Australian accounting firm – is looking for a Business Analyst/Tech Stack Supervisor. If you’re someone with a passion for process improvement, project management and technology, we’d love you on the team. The Position The role combines business analysis, project management, and internal tech stack supervision to drive innovation, optimise processes, and support our internal and client-facing teams across a diverse range of services and activities. Based out of either our Newcastle or Sydney office, reporting to the Financial Controller and Tech Stack Partner, and working closely with our internal development team and the various accounting leaders and teams, this role will be fun, engaging, interesting and challenging – we guarantee you will never be bored! Ideal Candidate Experience working in or with accounting practices and / or finance teams is desirable but not essential. Proven experience managing projects, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is critical; as is an analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to challenge and optimize business processes. Excellent communication will also be a strength required, with strong interpersonal skills, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Familiarity with Australian accounting processes and workflows ideal. Project Management skills, including software rollout and compiling / presenting user training and documentation / user manuals. Ability to identify business performance issues and produce commercially relevant advice and solutions especially where they may be addressed by a technology solution. Hands-on experience with cloud-based software solutions such as Xero, MYOB, FYI, and other Australian-focused tools.
