About the Role: The NSW BDE is responsible for identifying and cultivating strategic business relationships with key retailers and prospective clients, with a primary focus on parcel sales. Working collaboratively with the General Manager Commercial and SEKO's global network, you will spearhead the development of new business opportunities that drive growth of our parcel logistics solutions. We are seeking a results-oriented professional with a passion for supply chain, retail and e-commerce, who thrives on achievement and possesses a demonstrated history of success in parcel logistics, e-commerce, fulfilment, or supply chain sales. Experience in general freight is also highly valued. This hands-on position requires a dynamic business developer who can identify new opportunities, establish relationships, and convert prospects into long-term partnerships. You will work closely with marketing, account management, and product management teams to meet sales targets and implement business development initiatives that strengthen and expand SEKO's global parcel network. Key Responsibilities: Develop new business opportunities with e-Commerce retailers and other potential customers at all sales cycle stages including targeting, prospecting, and presenting compelling business propositions. Work effectively with decision-makers to develop long-term strategic relationships. Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of SEKO’s products and solutions. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of targeted entities to continuously grow the business and generate sales. Effectively manage large scale, complex contract negotiations and close new business deals with eCommerce retailers and other potential customers, working closely with the Global Sales Director. Promote and sell all pillars of the business, including Ocean & Air Freight, Cross-border and Domestic Transport. Attend conferences and forums to promote the SEKO brand. Prepare and give business reviews and presentations to the senior management team every month. We are looking for a driven and results-oriented professional with: 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the eCommerce, parcel logistics, or related industries. A proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
