Business Development Manager - Regional Western Victoria Who we are: Master Builders Victoria (MBV) is a member-focused organisation, representing over 6,000 members within the building construction industry across Victoria. We are committed to promoting excellence through education, advocacy, and industry support. Key Position Tasks: You will be tasked with driving growth within our membership base across Regional Western Victoria, including Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Warrnambool, and Portland. This role will focus on fostering engagement and participation in both virtual and in-person events while supporting the Member Engagement team in promoting our support services. Key tasks include: Maintain and increase new membership across defined regions and increase membership categories and verticals. Proactively engage with new and prospective clients across a broad range of sectors to offer them effective training and development solutions and services that meet current or future needs and to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Develop stakeholder relationships internally and externally, fostering a coordinated approach to achieving annual retention targets. Establish and maintain local networks within the industry including peak industry bodies, industry partners, other RTOs and TAFEs, members, employer groups, community organisations, schools, and other key stakeholders. Key Skills, Attributes and Experience: Ability to resource internal/external clients to achieve exemplary customer service. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure rapport building with existing and external members. Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and interpersonal skills. Planning and organisational skills. Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite. Willingness to travel across the region and across Metropolitan Melbourne as required.
