As a Business Development Manager in our Legrand Data Center Solutions (LDCS) team, you’ll take on a role that combines strategy, innovation, and meaningful impact. Based in Canberra and reporting to the LDCS Head, ANZ , this opportunity offers the chance to work on exciting projects in a dynamic and growing market. From creating innovative solutions to engaging with key stakeholders, you’ll have a hands-on role in shaping the future of data centers. Regular travel across Australia adds variety, while being part of a supportive team ensures you’ll always have collaboration and expertise by your side. Your responsibilities will include: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the data center market. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including end-users, consultants, and partners. Crafting and executing strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious growth targets. Using technical knowledge to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs. Partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project alignment and delivery. Representing Legrand at industry events and keeping up with market trends to stay ahead of the curve. What we’re looking for At least 5 years in sales or business development within the data center sector, with a proven record of achieving and exceeding targets. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, as well as expertise in account and opportunity planning. Familiarity with data center infrastructure, including power systems, cooling, racks, cabling, and environmental management systems. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and excited to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Australian citizenship preferred, with the ability to obtain security clearance if required.
