Business Development Manager - Advanced Manufacturing About us: MineARC Systems is the global leader in controlled environments and safety technologies for the underground mining, tunnelling, chemical processing, disaster relief and biotechnology industries. We specialise in the manufacture and supply of emergency refuge chambers, safe havens, disaster shelters and plant grow chambers, as well as a range of electronic equipment, remote monitoring, tracking and communications technologies that allow full integration in heavy industrial applications. This is a new role, based in our Perth Head Office, for a dedicated Business Development Manager to drive sales and expansion in MineARC's new Advanced Manufacturing capability, enhancing other Australian manufacturers via MineARC Systems' newly commissioned equipment. Equipment includes: SMT Line (Electronics Assembly), Surface Treatment, Turret Punch & Tower and Steel Cutting, Bending and Finishing. You will be instrumental in the early stages of product development and working with other Australian manufacturers from startups producing prototypes through to OEM’s at full rate production. The role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to be involved in our Innovation team identifying new products. The Role: Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, you will be responsible for: Prospecting and securing new business within the Australian market including acquisitions Maintaining and building customer relationships Achieving budgeted sales Updating and maintaining the company CRM Managing the end-to-end sales process from quoting to manufacturing Travel as required to clients’ sites, expos, and conferences Liaising with production on the sourcing of componentry Ensuring that the products sold are in accordance with the client's specifications and QA/QC Developing and implementing strategic business plans for the business Working closely with our CIO on strategy and market development Liaising directly with our engineering, marketing, and production teams About You: Proven ability in the acquisition of new customers and sales budgets. Exposure to the Manufacturing Industry or the Fabrication sector would be favourable Experience in selling and supplying equipment across manufacturing, research, tertiary or industrial industries Ability to present to all levels within an organisation including senior management Ability to present at seminars, conferences and corporate functions. Self-motivated and career focused An interest in electronics and new technologies Strong networking, negotiation and social skills Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions would be advantageous.
