Role Overview: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales growth for crushing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of the mining and aggregates industries, and a proven track record in business development or technical sales. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Market Development: Grow the crushing equipment market share across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with mining, quarrying, and industrial processing clients. Technical Consultation: Work closely with customers to assess operational needs and recommend tailored crushing solutions. Channel Management: Collaborate with dealers, distributors, and direct customers to maximise sales opportunities. Market Analysis: Identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to shape strategic sales initiatives. Sales Pipeline & Forecasting: Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and close. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, product development, and service teams to deliver customer-centric solutions. Travel: Frequent travel across the East Coast, including site visits and industry events. Qualifications & Experience: Industry Knowledge: 5+ years in business development, technical sales, or account management within the mining, quarrying, or industrial equipment sector. Crushing Equipment Expertise: Strong understanding of crushing equipment applications, maintenance, and operational efficiencies. Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of winning new business, managing key accounts, and closing high-value deals. Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and communicate complex engineering solutions. Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and implement long-term business growth strategies.
