Business Development Manager (Franchise Operations) Zarraffa’s Coffee is an award-winning business that is proudly 100% Australian owned and operated, with a mission to create a perfect cup of coffee, every time. Pouring specialty coffee in over 70 stores across Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia in a mix of drive-thrus and stores, we offer convenience and accessibility to all coffee-lovers. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to play a key part in driving the growth of the business and the company’s overall success. About the role: Reporting to the Retail General Manager, the BDM will work closely with our Operations Department to devise and implement strategic plans for growth. The goal of the BDM is to assist our existing and prospective franchisees to enhance growth and profit margins by building rapport with key stakeholders, developing KPIs for individual stores, conducting store evaluations, identifying areas for improvement, and mentoring franchisees and store managers as needed. Travel to allocated stores to build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective franchisees and store management teams. Analyse financial performance of stores and continuously monitor and assess break-even points in order to successfully develop and implement strategies to improve profitability and store performance. Evaluate customer satisfaction metrics and determine areas for improvement. Uphold and enforce Zarraffa's brand standards across all stores to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer experiences. Initiate and promote customer-centric initiatives geared towards increasing customer retention and loyalty. Implement and maintain effective governance throughout all aspects of store operations. Assist in managing and mitigating risks associated with store operations. Act as a liaison between the stores and Zarraffa's operations team ensuring timely and effective communication. Work collaboratively with various departments to foster best practices and enhance overall store performance. Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development among store teams, contributing to the group's continued growth and success. Use data-driven analysis to guide recommendations for improvements and strategic planning. Our Ideal Candidate: Five years’ experience in a leadership role within the QSR industry. 2+ years’ experience as a Business Development Manager within the Franchising industry.
