Job Description: This role is in the UPS Healthcare division which operates in the logistics and distribution market supporting pharmaceutical, med tech and diagnostics companies. FUTURE YOU Are you ready to positively impact the organization by leading the sales initiative for top priority UPS Healthcare products? In the role of Business Development Manager, you will be asked to build a pipeline and secure new revenue for our Ireland Healthcare and Distribution service offerings. You will work closely with our Enterprise and Small Medium Business sales team to do this along with your own self-led efforts based on your knowledge of the market. What you’ll need Education: Bachelor or master, preferably in business or supply chain management A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Logistic Industry, preferably in different roles Knowledge of Pharma Logistics with a focus on Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Knowledge of international transportation with a focus on temperature-controlled solutions Proven Sales track record and appetite for new business acquisition Fluent English language speaking and writing proficiency Working skills in other languages beneficial Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to support development of products and services Broad management skills Strong communication and presentation skills Solid financial knowledge and understanding Flexible attitude How we recruit UPS is committed to a policy of treating individuals fairly and recruiting, selecting, training, promoting, and compensating based on merit, experience, and other work-related criteria.
