The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and expanding market presence in the sustainable energy and contracting solutions sector. With a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, this role involves identifying business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and promoting innovative solutions to clients. Key Responsibilities: Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in and Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives. Client Acquisition: Build and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and government entities. Technical Proposals: Collaborate with technical teams to develop tailored solutions and prepare technical and commercial proposals. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth. Partnership Development: Establish strategic alliances with technology providers, suppliers, and industry partners. Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in sustainable energy. Negotiation & Contracts: Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and terms to secure profitable deals. Project Coordination: Coordinate with project management and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management. Leadership : Leading a team of engineeres supporting the strategic initiative and ensure business acheivements. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. An MBA is an advantage. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the sustainable energy, renewable energy, or contracting solutions industry. Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of sustainable energy systems, including solar, wind, and energy efficiency solutions. Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term customer relationships. Analytical Skills: Strong market analysis and strategic planning abilities.
