The working environment is very supportive with a culture of recognition and appreciation across the board. But the thing I am most impressed with is that they actually invest in people – online cloud training, boss-to-coach (for managers), and the Empower Program (a program specifically designed to promote female leadership) are just a few examples! I am excited to see what’s coming next while harnessing my strengths along my journey with hipages.” “I have had the opportunity to build a remarkable career at hipages. Joining as a junior software engineer in 2015, I am now an engineering manager working across several teams. The company’s unwavering commitment to nurturing talent and promoting growth, coupled with a collaborative work environment, has empowered me to develop my skills, take on new challenges, and lead teams of talented individuals. I am grateful for the opportunities and proud to be part of a company that values employee development and recognizes the potential in its team members.” Dan Weinhold - Marketing Lead Growth Product Manager “What I love about being part of hipages is the team, the opportunities, and being trusted from day 1. It’s exciting and rewarding to work with such brilliant people on initiatives that move the needle for a product that creates real value for homeowners and tradies.” “I have been fortunate to meet fantastic people and leadership within hipages. There are a lot of learning opportunities within the grad program and I am keen to see what I will have developed by the end. Thank you to the team at hipages, it was such a warm welcome, much appreciated.” “I joined hipages last year as part of the Brand and Comms team. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside such a great team, diving into various projects across PR, brand and content. The culture at hipages is what makes it such a great place to work. The collaboration between team members, along with the support from managers, allows for both personal and professional growth. There is a great balance of learning opportunities, connecting and working with others whilst also having fun and socialising with other team members. I look forward to what the future holds at hipages and how I can contribute to our success and goals as a business.” IT Operations Graduate “As an IT support graduate at hipages, I have had the privilege of immersing myself in a work culture that I genuinely enjoy. The friendly and welcoming colleagues make every day a joy, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and growth thrives. Moreover, I have the opportunity to expand my skills by learning different cloud platforms like JumpCloud and Genesys, further enhancing my technical expertise and keeping me at the forefront of industry advancements.” External referral program Our external referral program means that even if you’re not a hipages employee, you can still earn big! We offer a generous referral bonus of $1,500 for successful referrals (completing a minimum for 30 days employment with hipages Group) which can be split between: Credit towards a hipages or Builderscrack tradie A donation from hipages to a deductible gift recipient registered charity on your behalf A gift card A combination of all three! We’ll send you an email straight away to confirm we’ve received your application. Within approximately one week, you can expect a follow up email providing an update on your application. If we would like to move forward with you, you will be able to nominate times for an initial Zoom call with our Talent Acquisition team. Please note that response times may vary during peak periods, however our team is dedicated to promptly getting back to you where possible. At hipages, our hiring process has four key stages: TA Screen: Join us for a 30-45 minute Zoom call where a member of our Talent Acquisition team will introduce you to the role and hipages Group culture. We’re excited to learn more about you including your career aspirations and experience and answer any questions you may have. Manager Interview: We’ll arrange for you to meet with the hiring manager and potential colleague. This is a great opportunity to gain more insight into the team and role expectations. For Sales and Service roles, you’ll have a chance to role play with the hiring manager over the phone using a script; a simulation of a typical call our teams receive daily. Take Home Challenge (Non-Sales Roles): You will receive a brief containing the necessary details of a case study and we will give you 3-5 business days to prepare your response. For tech roles, we want you to showcase your technical skills and get a taste of the type of work you will be doing. Cultural Interview: As a final check in, you’ll meet with our People & Culture team for a behavioural based interview. This is a fantastic opportunity to ask any final questions about the company and how we work. In addition to a competitive salary and Employee Share Options Program (ESOP), our THRIVE Program offers our team an extensive range of benefits including Tradie and Wellbeing Allowances, Birthday Leave, and subsidised access to an online holistic healthcare platform. Head over to OUR CULTURE to see more! We’re all about providing our team with flexibility in ways of working whilst maintaining team connection. For most teams, we have a 50/50 hybrid working model where our team works 5 days a fortnight from home and 5 from the office. For Sales roles, our onboarding and training period (your first 8-12) weeks will be in the office, and following this you may be eligible to work 1-2 days a week from home. Don’t worry, we’ll let you know more about the specific requirements of each role in our job ads and during the interview process. Do you have any tips for the interview process? Be Prepared: Whether it’s a Zoom interview or in our office, make sure you’re ready to go early so that you don’t feel rushed. If you’re coming to our office, give yourself time to get there early. Come With Questions: The best interviews are interactive and it’s equally important for you to learn about us as it is for us to learn about you! Check out our LinkedIn, Instagram and the LinkedIn profiles of the people you are meeting with. We’ll also send you a job description with a Success Profile which is your guide to excelling in the role so have a read and prepare any questions you may have. Practice Makes Perfect: Practise your answers to interview questions and refer to real life examples from your work experience so that you’re confident in answering these questions on the day. Yes! During our hiring process you will have a number of opportunities to explain to our hiring team what your disability means and what you require from us to set you up for success. If you can’t see a job for you currently posted, you can submit an ‘Expression of Interest’ above. If a job comes up we think you’d be a great fit for, we’ll be in touch! Our dress code is simple - ‘Be Yourself!’ We encourage you to come to your interview dressed however you feel most comfortable. For some of our roles you may be required to complete a psychometric assessment (via SHL). The output of this assessment will assist us in creating our final interview questions and help in your career development if you are selected. We will let you know more about this during the hiring process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
