The Opportunity In this BDM role, you will be at the forefront of tapping into the market to build upon the existing Bullivants portfolio while supporting to deliver on a compelling customer offer and value add approach. Bullivants are leaders in lifting, rigging and safety related products with a national presence providing a customer first approach into the Mining and industrial market sectors. Product sales and ongoing service and support is a key part of our market offer. At the Newcastle branch, you’ll be joining a high performing, engaged team who celebrated their win as Branch of the Year! We are looking for the next great addition to nurture ongoing success! Tasks of the role: Identify opportunities for business growth to convert leads within the defined market Willing to travel with some overnight stays Proactively approach and build relationships with existing and potential customers Develop a strong sales pipeline to ensure the achievement of targets Support at a local level relevant planned marketing and technical campaigns Actively involved in working with customers to deliver specialised rigging equipment to meet their needs Some of the skills required: Previous BDM or Sales experience (preferred experience in mining or heavy machinery) Preferred experience in lifting and rigging markets Proactive and ambitious mindset to build upon existing presence Ability to foster meaningful relationships with customers A forward-thinking mindset to develop solution-oriented outcomes for customers High level written and verbal communication A full, unrestricted Australian drivers license This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and will be based at Bullivants Newcastle . Given the nature of this role there will be the requirement to travel across the territory including Newcastle and Upper Hunter Valley using a tool of trade vehicle.
